Fresno police Lt. Zeb Price said the crash reconstruction unit was assigned to figure out what happened.

No other vehicles were involved. The minivan was not the vehicle being pursued and the suspect vehicle continued to flee after the crash.

One man was inside the minivan, while two officers were in the cruiser, Price said. All three were taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

Officers blocked off the intersection.

The suspect was ultimately apprehended at the Chevron gas station at Fresno Street and Highway 99.
