The Fresno County Coroner on Friday identified a 17-year-old boy who died in an ATV crash as Raul Zamora of Five Points.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Colusa and Laguna avenues in Five Points.

According to California Highway Patrol, Zamora was riding the ATV when the left rear wheel came off the axle, causing him to lose control and crash into a tree.

Zamora was pronounced dead at the scene.
