Woman went missing from downtown Fresno 2 weeks ago. Sheriff now asking for help
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a 46-year-old woman who has been missing more than two weeks.
Valerie Grace Ray was last seen Feb. 9 in the area of Fresno and M streets in downtown Fresno, according to a post of the Sheriff’s Office social media Tuesday.
Ray is described as 5-foot-8 with blonde hair and brown eyes.
It is not clear exactly when she was reported missing or why she was downtown prior to her last being seen. There was no indication that authorities are investigating the disappearance as any possible crime. The Sheriff’s Office said on Wednesday that there was nothing suspicious in the case. Ray was dealing with personal issues and may have off grid and out of communication with her family.
Anyone with information on Ray’s potential location is still asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 559-600-3111 or 559-600-8135.
