The massive winter storm wreaking havoc across the United States has resulted in numerous flight cancellations and delays, , including at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

Since Friday, there have been two delayed departures to Salt Lake City and Phoenix, and all Dallas flights to and from Fresno were canceled on Saturday, according to airport spokesperson Vikkie Calderon.

The breakdown since Friday, according to Calderon:

Friday: 1 Salt Lake City flight departure delayed, and 1 Phoenix flights departure delayed.

Saturday: 5 Dallas arrival/departure flights canceled.

Sunday: 1 Dallas flight arrival canceled; 1 Dallas flight departure delayed; 1 Las Vegas flight arrival delayed (due to late arrival at departure airport).

According to The Associated Press, more than 13,000 flights were canceled Saturday and Sunday across the U.S.

The Fresno airport had also experienced delays just over a week ago due to dense fog in the region.

According to the National Weather Service Prediction Center, the storm is expected to move northeast late Sunday, bringing heavy snow, sleet, and freezing rain that “will bring considerable impacts to much of the eastern half of the United States.”

“Passengers are strongly encouraged to keep in contact with their airline regarding their flight status this weekend,” Calderon said. “Passengers can also sign up for their airline’s mobile apps to receive flight status updates.”
