Madera County deputy district attorney promoted Friday
Todd Spangler, a 14-year employee of the Madera County District Attorney’s Office, was promoted Friday to supervising deputy district attorney.
Spangler, a graduate of California State University, Fresno, and the University of San Diego School of Law, has served as a deputy D.A. in Madera County for the past 14 years.
He has 21 years of experience as a prosecutor, specializing in consumer protection, insurance fraud, welfare fraud, gangs, and prison and agriculture crimes.
In 2008 and 2009, he was named the Deputy District Attorney of the year by the Madera Elks Lodge No. 1918 and Madera Kiwanis Club.
