Officials in the California Highway Patrol and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are looking for an Elk Grove woman who they said was most recently seen in Fresno last week.

Whisper Owen, 36, and her 8-month-old daughter, Sandra McCarthy, were last seen driving from Fresno back to their home in Elk Grove, the Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post Monday. They were last seen July 15 around 5 p.m. in Fresno near the intersection of North Glenn and East Yale avenues, according to the CHP.

A missing person advisory from the CHP said Owen was driving a silver 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer with the California license plate 9LKH008. The agency was notified Monday about the two missing people.

Owen is described as 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Sandra is described as under 2 feet with brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a pink onesie.

Authorities urged anyone who sees the pair to call 911.
