A Clovis woman was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle collision in Fresno County.

Guillermina Medina, 60, of Clovis, was involved in the crash at 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Grantland and Olive avenues.

The California Highway Patrol said an Acura TSX, driven by Medina, was traveling southbound on Grantland when she failed to stop at the posted stop sign and was hit on the driver’s side when a Jeep collided with the vehicle.

Olive is uncontrolled by stop signs at that intersection, CHP said.

Medina later died at Community Regional Medical Center.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be in the collision, CHP said.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
