Fresno Pride parade, fest are nearly here. Your guide to parking, tickets & more

June is Pride Month — and Fresno is ready to party.

The fun kicks off with the 35th annual Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival.

Eventgoers can expect “fabulous floats, live entertainment, food, vendors and a whole lot of love,” LGBTQ Fresno said on its Facebook page. “Bring your friends, your family, your true self — and let’s make this Pride one to remember!”

Pride-themed dance parties, yoga and trivia are also in store.

Here’s what you need to know:

When is Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade in 2025? Where?

The Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at the corner of Olive and Palm avenues in Fresno’s Tower District.

Eventgoers can watch more than 100 parade entries as they make their way down Olive Avenue, ending at Maroa Avenue.

A panel of judges will honor parade entries with special awards, including “best decorated vehicle/float,” according to the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade website.

When and where is Fresno Pride Festival in 2025?

After the parade ends at 11 a.m., head to the Fresno Rainbow Pride Festival at Fresno City College, 1101 East University Ave. in Fresno.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In store are live DJs, vendors, food trucks and a beer garden for attendees age 21 and up, according to organizers.

The 2024 festival attracted more than 10,000 attendees, organizers said.

“We expect even more this year, so get ready to meet lots of people,” festival organizers said on the event’s website.

What are ticket prices?

Tickets to the Fresno Rainbow Pride Festival cost $5 apiece and can be purchased online via Eventeny.

Which roads will be closed?

Olive Avenue in Fresno’s Tower District will be closed to traffic on Saturday morning due to the Pride parade.

Where can I park?

Headed to the parade? Organizers encourage eventgoers to park for free at Fresno City College and use the free bus to get to the Tower District.

You can also find festival parking at Fresno City College.

The closest parking will be the parking lots of off North Van Ness Avenue and East McKinley Avenue: Parking Lot B and Parking Lot C, organizers said on the event website.

Additional parking can be found at Parking Lot E, Parking Lot T and Parking Lot V, the website said.

What else do I need to know?

According to organizers, the Fresno Pride festival has a new bag policy in 2025.

Members of the public are only allowed to bring clear bags with dimensions no larger than a foot by 6 inches by a foot.

You can also bring small, non-clear bags measuring no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches by 2 inches.

The festival is also “100% smoke, vape and tobacco free,” organizers said on the event website. “No smoking of any kind will be permitted on the festival grounds.”
