Central California’s SPCA hosts casino night fundraiser Aug. 15
The Central California Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is hosting a casino night fundraiser Aug. 15 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Engelmann Cellars.
In addition to casino-style gambling, the event at 3275 N. Rolinda Ave. will feature live music by The Valley Cats, a barbecue dinner from Famous Dave’s and dessert from Gorilla Gurt, wine and beer, a photo booth, a silent auction and raffle prizes.
CCSPCA’s adoption trailer will be on-site, and an adoption special will run all day for National Homeless Pet Day. Adoption fees for dogs will range from $75 to $90 and cats from $20 to $35.
Tickets are $65 a person for those 21 and over and come with $200 gaming chips. Tickets can be purchased online at ccspca.com/bets through Aug. 14, by calling CCSPCA at (559) 233-4782 or by emailing betsforpets@ccspca.com.
