Update: 34-year-old motorcyclist ID’d by Fresno coroner. He collided with vehicle

A motorcyclist was died after he was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a collision with a vehicle in Fresno.

The collision involving the motorcycle and two vehicles took place at Cedar and Cornell avenues at 4:24 p.m.

Fresno Police Sgt. Mike Stanford said the motorcycle rider was going north on Cedar when he collided into the passenger side of a white vehicle that was turning left from southbound Cedar into the parking lot of a library.

The motorcyclist was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. Police later said he died. He was identified by the coroner on Monday as 34-year-old Timothy Wells.

The passenger in the white vehicle was in stable condition, Stanford said.

A gray vehicle was also involved, getting struck by the white vehicle. No one was injured in that vehicle.

Alcohol or drugs were not suspected.
