Here’s what to know:

What is IHOP?

Founded in 1958 in Toluca Lake, International House of Pancakes changed its name to IHOP in 1973, the company said on its website.

IHOP is known for its “world-famous pancakes” as well as a “wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items that are loved by people of all ages,” the company said.

IHOP had more than 1,700 locations across the world as of 2023, including restaurants in all 50 states and two U.S. territories.

Why is IHOP testing out food deals in Fresno?

IHOP is testing its everyday value menu at markets across the nation, including Baltimore, Oklahoma City and Jacksonville, Florida.

In California, the menu is only available at Fresno-area locations, according to an IHOP spokesperson.

IHOP tested an everyday value platform in the first quarter of 2024 to “best position its value menu for guests,” the spokesperson told The Fresno Bee via email.

That led to the introduction of IHOP’s House Faves menu in October 2024, which “demonstrated the positive impact of offering a weekday value platform,” the restaurant chain said.

How long will menu be available?

IHOP’s new everyday value menu launched on Monday, March 3, and will be available through Sunday, June 1, according to the release.

The menu is available seven days a week in person and via the IHOP app, according to the restaurant chain.
