Two die in motorcycle collision with Amazon delivery van in Fresno, police say

UPDATE: Two teens identified as victims killed in motorcycle crash with Amazon van in Fresno

ORIGINAL STORY: Two people were killed Sunday night when the motorcycle they were on collided with an Amazon delivery van in Fresno.

Officers responded to the collision at 8:10 p.m. at Jensen and Sunnyside avenues and found two people in the road, Fresno Police Lt. Marcus Gray said.

Life-saving measures were provided but both were pronounced dead.

Two people in the Amazon van were not injured, Gray said.

The department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit arrived to determine how the collision occurred.

Gray said the motorcycle was headed south on Sunnyside while the Amazon van was pulling out onto Sunnyside from Byrd.

Gray said neither of the people on the motorcycle were wearing a helmet.
