Bridge deck construction projects scheduled in Fresno and Madera counties

Bridge deck construction projects will begin Aug. 3 in Fresno and Madera counties and continue through September and result in lane and ramp closures.

Each week, night work will begin Sunday evenings until 6 a.m. the following morning. Daytime work will occur at the Interstate 5 locations from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day.

The following locations within Fresno and Madera counties will be subject to lane and ramp closures. Times will vary.

▪ Interstate 5: Cantua Creek, Hudson Avenue, Manning Avenue and California Avenue.

▪ Highway 33: Warthan Creek Bridge.

▪ Highway 41: Lincoln Avenue, Shaw Avenue, Sierra Avenue, Alluvial Avenue and Friant Road.

▪ Highway 99: Dry Creek and Ash Slough bridges.

Message signs will be in place to notify motorists of upcoming lane closures.
