Madera County highway closures next month for pavement operations

Pavement chip seal operations from the Mariposa County line towards Highway 41 near Oakhurst in Madera County will cause closures.

Closures with flaggers and pilot cars are scheduled Monday through from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Aug. 10 through Aug. 14, chip seal operations with flaggers and pilot cars will occur along Highway 41 near Oakhurst from Cedar Valley Road to Yosemite National Park.

Final striping operations within these location will follow after grinding/paving operations are complete.

Construction crews will continue conducting one-way traffic control at these locations and during the work hours listed above with the use of pilot cars or flagging personnel through the work zone.

A 10-minute delay during construction is anticipated.

Motorists who are delayed at driveways and intersections will be required to wait for pilot cars and adhere to all signs.

Commuters are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.
