Here’s a list of some of the Fresno-area businesses that are open and closed for the holiday on Thursday, Nov. 28 — from supermarkets and pharmacies to retailers.

The Fresno Bee vetted this list by calling store locations and checking websites.

Holiday hours can differ by location. Be sure to check with your local store before heading out.

What grocery stores are open in Fresno on Thanksgiving Day?

Here’s when local grocery stores will be open in Fresno for Thanksgiving Day, and which ones will be closed:

Aldi: Closed

Costco: Closed

Food 4 Less: Open 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Foods Co. : Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

FoodMaxx: Open 6.am. to 6 p.m.

Fresno Community Market: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Grocery Outlet: Closed

Savemart: Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Smart and Final: Open 6.am. to 5 p.m.

Trader Joe’s: Closed

Vallarta Supermarkets: Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ventura Supermarket: Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Which local pharmacies are open on Thanksgiving Day?

Here are open hours for pharmacies in the Fresno area on Thanksgiving Day:

CVS: Open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or closed, depending on store location.

Rite Aid: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Target: Closed

Walmart: Closed

Walgreens: Closed

Which local shopping malls are open on Thanksgiving Day?

Fresno has two popular malls: River Park Shopping Center and Fashion Fair.

Most of the stores at those shopping centers will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving Day.

What’s closed on Thanksgiving Day in Fresno?

Several government offices, including post offices and public libraries, and most banks are closed on Thursday in Fresno for Thanksgiving Day.

Commercial package delivery company FedEx is also closed for the holiday.
