Don’t worry: You can still enjoy a delicious meal without laboring over a hot stove.

Fresno-area restaurants and shops offer multiple options for singles, couples and families looking for dine- in, takeout and catered Thanksgiving meals.

Where can I eat out on Thanksgiving Day in Fresno area?

Going out to eat? These Fresno-area restaurants are open for dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28.:

Black Bear Diner

Black Bear Diner, 602 West. Shaw Ave. in Fresno, will start serving Thanksgiving meals at 11 a.m. for $29 to $35 per person, or $13 for children 12 and younger. Diners can choose from a roasted turkey, old-fashioned smoked ham or prime rib dinner, served with soup or salad, a cornbread muffin, and a slice of pumpkin pie. Campagnia Bistro

Campagnia Bistro, 1185 East Champlain Drive in Fresno, will serve a holiday buffet from noon to 6 p.m. for $49 for adults and $19 for children 12 and under. Entrees include ham, prime rib with horseradish cream and au jus and baked salmon with pear salsa. Sides offered at the restaurant include garlic mashed potatoes, rolls, macroni and cheese and a grilled vegetable platter, while dessert options include berry trifle, lemon shortcake, petit fours, pumpkin pie and chocolate-covered strawberries. Elderberry House

Elderberry House at Château du Sureau, 8688 Victoria Lane in Oakhurst, has a six-course Thanksgiving dinner for $175 per person with a $95 wine pairing, or $250 for a reserve pairing. The menu includes a beet salad with citrus, fennel and pistachios; seared scallops with honey nut squash, kale and pickled cranberries and roast turkey with potato purée and Brussels sprouts. For dessert, try the pumpkin crémeux with almond dacquoise, chai and vanilla bean. Seating times are 4, 4:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. Call 559-683-6800 for reservations.

Elbow Room Bar and Grill

Elbow Room Bar and Grill, 731 West San Jose Ave. in Fresno, will serve a Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Options include a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner for $39 or a Dijon brown sugar-glazed ham dinner, with soup, salad and seafood starters also available. Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar

Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, 639 East Shaw Ave., Suite 149, in Fresno, offers a three-course Thanksgiving menu for $65 for grownups or $31 for kids. Diners have a choice of herb-roasted turkey, filet mignon or prime bone-in ribeye. The rest of the meal includes savory housemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans with apricots and onions and cinnamon orange cranberry sauce, plus dessert. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, 7844 North Blackstone Ave. in Fresno, serves a three-course Thanksgiving feast for prices starting at $48 for adults and $20 for kids. Diners can choose salad or soup as a starter, as well as an entree, side dishes and a dessert. Sides include garlic mashed potatoes, a sweet potato casserole, creamed spinach, green beans with roasted garlic and a tasty pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. A number of local restaurants and grocery stores offer Thanksgiving meals to go. They include:

Booboo Bean Bakery and Cafe

Booboo Bean Bakery and Cafe, 2063 West Bullard Ave. in Fresno, offers a holiday feast package that serves up to six people for $175, with a larger option that serves up to 12 people for $250. You can also get a meal for two for $65. Choose from hand-carved turkey breast, hand-carved ham or half turkey and half ham. The meal includes a choice of four sides ranging from broccoli salad to mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, while dessert toptions range from pies to cookies. Order by Monday, Nov. 25, for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 27, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Call 559-570-8093.

Denny’s

Denny’s has multiple locations in Fresno. The diner chain is offering a holiday meal that serves up to four people, with prices starting at $55. It features carved turkey breast, savory stuffing, red-skinned mashed potatoes with a choice of a second side, plus gravy and cranberry sauce. Ordering is available from Friday, Nov. 22, to Wednesday, Nov. 27, with pickup available at least 24 hours after the order is placed.

Save Mart

Save Mart locations offer a fully cooked Butterball turkey dinner meal for $70 and a fully cooked Kretschmar ham meal for $80. Both serve six to eight people. The turkey meal includes savory bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce, while the ham meal includes mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and spiced apples. Order at least 24 hours before pickup; the meal is sold frozen and takes two days to thaw.

Vons

Vons offers a turkey dinner or spiral ham dinner with four sides starting at $70, Each serves six to eight people.
