Unconscious girl rushed to Fresno hospital

An alert citizen came to the rescue of a 14-year-old girl who was found unconscious at Fresno Street and Olive Avenue Wednesday morning, police reported.

The citizen brought the girl to police headquarters at Mariposa and N streets in downtown Fresno. Lt. Joe Gomez said it is possible the girl was under the influence of an unknown drug.

At the request of her parents, she was taken to St. Agnes Medical Center. Additional details were not available.
