Girl who drowned in Fresno pool named. Her sister is still hospitalized
A 14-year-old girl who drowned Wednesday in a pool in east-central Fresno was identified Monday by the Fresno County Coroner.
She was Mia Gonzalez Saltos of Ivanhoe. Her 12-year-old sister was also pulled from the pool by emergency workers and remains in a hospital, according to Fresno County Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti.
The incident took place at a home near Purdue and Ramona. Additional information was not disclosed Monday.
