Motorcyclist hurt in central Fresno crash

A motorcycle rider sustained a serious knee injury Friday afternoon in a collision with an SUV in central Fresno. The crash took place about 2 p.m. at Palm and Normandie avenues.

Fresno Police Lt. Joe Gomez said it appeared that the woman rider of the three-wheeled motorcycle was southbound on Palm when the SUV, which was northbound, made a left turn toward Normandie in front of her. Southbound Palm was blocked after the crash.
