Brush fire confined to 2 acres

A 2-acre fire scorched a travel trailer Friday afternoon near Dunlap, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was contained by 2 p.m., and no other damage was reported. The travel trailer was not occupied.

Initial investigation discovered a power pole on fire and it wasn’t known if it was on fire before the brush fire started or if it was set ablaze by the brush fire, said Capt. Ryan Michaels.

The fire was first reported shortly after 1 p.m.
