Pedestrian killed in collision with vehicle ID’d by Fresno coroner. The driver was cited

A female pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Jan. 27 in Fresno has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

Thuong Duong, 51, of Fresno was struck by a vehicle around 6 p.m. in the area of Fresno Street and Cambridge Avenue.

Police said a driver was traveling south on Fresno Street when he collided with Duong, who was in the roadway.

Duong was taken to Community Regional Medical Center but succumbed to her injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and was cited and released for DUI marijuana, police said.
