Hard closure in place at busy area affecting traffic in Fresno. Here’s how long
A major area where traffic is constantly flowing will be closed starting next week.
The city of Fresno announced Friday afternoon that West Avenue between Shaw and Ashlan avenues will be closed starting Monday because of railroad crossing improvements.
The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and will be a hard closure.
“Drivers should utilize an alternate route,” the city said in a news release.
The closure is expected to last four days pending any delays.
