450-acre Triple Fire breaks out near Springville
The Triple Fire, which started Tuesday from a lightening strike in Tulare County near Springville, burned more than 450 acres, according to Paul Marquez of Cal Fire.
Although the fire has caused no evacuations or structure damage near Globe Drive and Mountain Road, the remote location is proving difficult for fire crews to tackle, Marquez said. Marquez reported 15% containment as of 8:30 p.m.
