A woman was rushed unconscious to the hospital about 10:30 a.m. Saturday after she was struck by a car in front of Fresno Yosemite International Airport, the Fresno Police Department reported.

A spokesman said the incident happened at East Clinton Avenue and North Gateway Boulevard. Officers found the woman breathing, but unconscious and rendered aid until firefighters and other emergency responders arrived. She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, but police did not have an update on her condition.

The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative, the spokesman said. Drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

Police reported that the driver of this vehicle remained at the scene after it was involved in an incident Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, that left a pedestrian injured near Fresno Yosemite International Airport,
