Civil Air Patrol to hold training exercise in Fresno

The Civil Air Patrol will hold a major training exercise in Fresno for aircrews and ground support personnel.

The training will take place at Fresno Yosemite Airport from Friday to Sunday.

The aircraft will arrive at Fresno by noon on Friday and it will depart on the first training flight between 2 and 3 p.m, ending about 6 p.m.

On Saturday, air operations will start about 10 a.m. and end around 7 p.m.

On Sunday, air operations will start about 10 a.m., and will end about 3 p.m.

CAP is a first responder when an aircraft is reported missing in California. It’s equipped with sophisticated equipment to search for a missing aircraft, in the air and on the ground.
