UPDATE: 20-year-year-old Clovis woman ID’d as motorcycle rider killed in collision on Nees Ave.

A woman was killed Wednesday after she collided on a motorcycle with a car in Clovis, police said.

The woman was going east on Nees Avenue between Willow and Peach avenues about noon when she collided with a car turning left from the other direction, Lt. Jim Koch said.

She was transported to a Fresno-area hospital, he said.

The Clovis Police Department announced on social media around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday that the woman had died.

The driver, a man, was not hurt and was cooperating with police, Koch said.

He could not say immediately what caused the crash.
