A 33-year-old Fresno man was sentenced to 30-years-to-life in prison for sexually assaulting multiple victims in 2016.

On April 20, a jury found Nicholas Lusk guilty of four counts of sexual assault, including rape of an unconscious person, sexual penetration by force, sodomy by use of force and rape.

Judge Michael Idiart sentenced Lusk on Wednesday.

During the weeks-long trial detectives described how Lusk, on July 24, 2016, met a woman at a night club, followed her home, broke in through a window and assaulted her.

Lusk was already known to Fresno police. They began investigating him on April 23, 2016 following a reported sexual assault on a former romantic partner.

Prosecuting the case was Senior Deputy District Attorney Kristin Maxwell. Lusk’s defense attorney was Jon Renge.
