Starting Friday morning at the Charros Unidos facility on Avenue 17 just north of Madera, a group of horse riders will assemble and begin a three-day, 60-mile journey in honor of Joaquín Murrieta.
The cabalgata (Spanish for horse pilgrimage) will end Sunday afternoon with music and horse showmanship at Three Rocks.
