Highway 99 in central California having flooding issues. Here’s what it looked like

The north side of Highway 99 was closed around 9 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Lerdo Highway due to flooding on the roadway after a nearby levee broke, Caltrans said.

A portion of Highway 99 was closed due on Friday following a break in a temporary levee that flooded the roadway.
Two of the three lanes were reopened by mid-morning, though the other remained closed as crews cleared debris.
The California Highway Patrol cautioned those traveling through the area.
