Update: I-5 open to 1 lane on Grapevine in California after fiery multi-vehicle crash

Traffic into the Central Valley out of Los Angles was delayed on Wednesday, following a collision that caught multiple vehicles on fire.

Northbound Interstate 5 was cut to one lane over the Grapevine north of Lebec, according to Caltrans after an initial full closure around 2 p.m.

As of 4:15 p.m. there was no estimated time for a full reopening.

The crash involved multiple big rigs, and several vehicles caught fire.

At least one truck was fully engulfed, according to the CHP traffic incident log.

Traffic was initially completely blocked, and was being rerouted at Fort Tejon.
