Blaze brought under control near rifle range, north of Clovis, fire official says
A fire that burned more than 100 acres northwest of Clovis Monday afternoon was brought under control without damage to structures, the Fresno County Fire Department reported.
The fire erupted in the 15,000 block of Auberry Road, near the Fresno Rifle and Pistol Range.
An evacuation warning for nearby residents was lifted a short time later.
