Update: Teen who went missing from home in Fresno found safe near Shields and Brawley

UPDATE: Brody Musgrave, 13, was found safe at 6 p.m. Friday, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said in an email to media at 6:30 p.m.

“Two observant young ladies saw a boy who looked like Brody walking through a neighborhood near Brawley and Shields Avenues. They called dispatchers. Deputies and Fresno Police responded, contacted the boy and confirmed it to be Brody,” FCSO spokesperson Tony Botti said.

“He is in good health and will be reunited with his family.”

ORIGINAL STORY: The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a 13-year-old boy who has been missing from his home since Thursday evening.

Brody Musgrave is believed to have walked away from his house around 6 p.m. on Sierra Avenue between West and Fruit avenues, spokesperson Tony Botti said Friday morning.

The boy is described as 5-foot-2 and 120 pounds with a thin build and short, dirty-blond hair and hazel eyes. He also light freckles on his face. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown hiking style boots.

Anyone who has seen someone resembling Brody, should contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately at 559-600-3111.
