Fresno coroner seeks help finding family of man who died in local hospital
The Fresno County Coroner on Wednesday is asking for help to find relatives on an elderly man who died shortly after arriving to a local hospital.
Pedro Villalta Lopez, 67, arrived at a Fresno hospital and later passed away.
Spokesman Tony Botti said Villalta Lopez previously lived in Stockton, Calexico, and Mexico.
Staff at the coroner’s office have been unable to find family members, a process necessary in order to release the body for burial.
