Big rig overturns near Shaver Lake. CHP shuts down Highway 168
Highway 168 above the four-lane section was blocked Tuesday evening after a big rig rolled over, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The closure was announced shortly before 5 p.m. at Woodland Road and was expected to continue until at least 6:30 p.m. CalTrans reportedly had flaggers in place to allow traffic to flow one direction at a time.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the vehicle involved was a 35,000-pound flatbed carrying a container.
