Marjaree Mason Center announces Top Ten keynote speaker

Robin McGraw will be the featured keynote speaker at the 32nd annual Top Ten Professional Women and Leading Business Awards, the Marjaree Mason Center announced this week.

The luncheon will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 16 at Fresno’s Convention Center, New Exhibit Hall.

McGraw is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, television personality and two-time #1 New York Times best-selling author who is committed to her mission to inspire women to live their best lives. She is also known for her appearances on her husband’s show, “Dr. Phil.”

The Top Ten Awards luncheon honors local professionals. This year, it will bring 1,2000 attendees together with the goal of honoring outstanding individuals in the community while also raising awareness for domestic violence.

The event will pay tribute to 10 women who have served as role models and given back to their communities, all while making strides in their professions. One business will be honored as the Leading Business of the Year for its support of women and women’s issues.

For nearly 35 years, the Marjaree Mason Center has offered shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence in Fresno County. Currently, the center operates the county’s only dedicated provider of domestic violence shelter and support services, including education for victims and youth.
