Update: 11-year-old Fresno girl missing for two days is found. Police said she is safe

UPDATE: Fresno police said about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday the 11-year-old was found and is safe.

ORGINAL STORY: Fresno police Monday issued an appeal for help finding Samantha Alvarado, 11, who was last seen in central Fresno at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police said Samantha lives near Fruit and Shields avenues. She is 5 feet tall and 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans with holes, and purple tennis shoes with designs. She has long brown hair with the tips dyed blue.
