Fresno teenager loses control of family vehicle, crashing muscle car into tree
Fresno Police said a 15-year-old boy lost control of a family car and slammed into a tree Wednesday night in southeast Fresno.
The crash took place about 5:30 p.m. at Armstrong and Orleans avenues, where the teen left the roadway in a high-performance Dodge Challenger, drove up a sidewalk and crashed into the tree in the park strip landscaping.
Lt. Mike Gebhart said the boy got out of the heavily damaged vehicle and walked about two blocks before he was located by officers.
He was not seriously injured.
The 15-year-old could face charges that includes driving without a license and hit and run.
