Truck catches fire on Highway 168 in Fresno County. CHP traffic control in place

Traffic Alert

A pickup truck with a trailer caught on fire Friday afternoon on Highway 168 in the Fresno County mountains, forcing a shutdown of traffic as crews worked to control the fire.

The fire was reported at 1:37 p.m. at 168 and lower Dogwood and it appears the fire was contained, but traffic headed to Shaver Lake will be delayed.

The California Highway Patrol reported it would be providing traffic control for at least two hours.
