Driver dies when SUV hits fence and flips several times in Fresno County crash, CHP says

A man died Saturday morning when his vehicle crashed into a fence before rolling over several times in Fresno County.

The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. on Auberry Road east of Millerton Road.

California Highway Patrol spokesman Mike Salas said the man driving a Subaru Forester was going west on Auberry Road when for unknown reasons the car left the roadway, hit the fence and overturned.

The Subaru came to rest on its side. Officers found the man inside the SUV, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s name, age and city of residence remained unknown pending notification of next of kin.
