Organizations grant $30,000 to Fresno’s Break the Barriers

Fresno’s Break the Barriers, Inc. received two $15,000 grants from the Bennett Foundation and Save Mart CARES to provide one-year training scholarships to 263 war veterans, officials with Break the Barriers said.

The training will be focused on general fitness, nutrition or building competitive teams for the Paralympic Games, Golden Age Games, Wheelchair Games, Valor Games and World Archery Competition. Funding will defray travel expenses and pay for the certification of archery instructors.
