Foundation donates $272,000 to Hinds Hospice
The Red and Nancy Arnold Foundation on Wednesday donated $272,000 to Hinds Hospice to sustain hospice services for residents of Madera County, officials with Hinds Hospice said.
The donation will be used to offset the cost of caring for patients. Medicare reimbursement rates are lower in Madera County than in Fresno and Merced counties, officials said.
