Update: Power restored for nearly all 1,400 homes in central Fresno following outage

UPDATE: As of 9:30 a.m., the outage was limited to 77 customers, according to the PG&E online outage center.



ORIGINAL STORY: Pacific Gas and Electric reported a power outage for more than 1,400 people in Fresno early Wednesday.

More than 1,400 users between McKinley, Ashlan and Palm avenues and First Street lost power about 6 a.m., PG&E reported.

It is expected to be out until at least 9 a.m., the company said on its website.
