Fresno fire crews fight blaze at mobile home park. Were squatters living there?

A fire destroyed a mobile home Thursday in a west central mobile home park, according to Fresno Fire Department.

Callers reported flames at the Four Seasons mobile home park on Dakota east of Weber avenues about 10 a.m., according to Battalion Chief Lupe Fernandez.

The investigation is in its early stages, but it appears the unit was supposed to be empty though may have had squatters, Fernandez said. The cause of the fire is also unclear.

No one reported injuries, he said, and firefighters were able to protect neighboring units.

Because the unit was supposed to be empty, he said, it appears no one will be displaced.
