Harley rider loses control on Shaw in Fresno. Machine crashes upside down
A Fresno motorcycle rider was involved in a wild crash that ended with a massive Harley-Davidson three wheeler upside down in northwest Fresno Friday morning.
Police reported the crash took place in the 4000 block of West Shaw Avenue near Brawley Avenue just before noon. The rider was in the left-turn lane of westbound Shaw and making a left turn when one of the back wheels clipped the raised median, causing her to lose control, police said.
The rider was ejected, but the motorcycle continued across the eastbound lanes of Shaw and over a curb before coming to rest on the grass lawn of a business just east of Fresno Harley-Davidson. Workers from the nearby Harley business arrived to help right the machine. The extent of her injuries were not disclosed.
Police said the rider was not issued a citation.
