Interstate 5 moving again over Grapevine in California. CHP says to watch your speed
Interstate 5 near the top of the Grapevine reopened after it was closed early Thursday because of ice and snow made driving hazardous.
The CHP reported at 5:30 a.m. that traffic was being stopped at Parker and rerouted south.
Southbound and southbound lanes of I-5 through the Grapevine were open to traffic with CHP escorts around 4 p.m.
“Drive safely and patiently, continuing to watch your speed and following distances,” the CHP said on social media.
