Fire displaces occupants at central Fresno apartment complex

Occupants of four units were displaced after a fire Monday morning in central Fresno, the fire department reported.

The blaze broke out just before noon at one of the units on East Clinton Avenue and North Bond Street. A fire spokesman said the cause of the fire was under investigation, but the damage was confined to one unit. However, since the gas line was damaged, residents of the other units were forced to temporarily find other living conditions.

No one was reported injured.
