YouTube TV viewers can’t see live coverage of the Fresno State game at the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday after last-minute discussions between the popular streaming service and Disney, owner of ESPN, broke down.

Fresno State beat the University of Texas-El Paso 31-24.

ABC30 is also affected as the impasse continues.

In a statement on Twitter, YouTube TV said the company was unable to reach a “fair deal” with Disney, making all Disney content unavailable.

“We know how frustrating it is to lose channels like ESPN and your local ABC station,” said YouTube TV, and promised to “continue conversations.”

Responded Disney Media in a statement:

“We’ve been in ongoing negotiations with (YouTube TV) and unfortunately, they have declined to reach a fair deal with us based on market terms and conditions. As a result, their subscribers have lost access to our unrivaled portfolio of networks...

“We stand ready to reach an equitable agreement with Google, (the parent corporation of You Tube)...in order to minimize the inconvenience to ...viewers.”
