A massive storm front continued its move through the central San Joaquin Valley on Tuesday, causing weather-related hazards in and around Fresno.

The gutters along parts of Shaw Avenue near West were overflowing to the roadway Tuesday morning, as were the roads on Perrin Avenue near Champlain Avenue.

A section of Olive and Peach Avenues was shut down while city crews worked to clear water from the road.

The city urged residents to report flooded streets or other weather-related hazards through its FresGO app or by calling the non-emergency 311 line. You can also fill out a report online. In Clovis, downed trees or flooded streets can be reported to the Clovis Public Works Department at 559-324-2600 or through the city’s GoClovis app.

In Fresno County, road hazards can be reported by calling 559-600-4240 or 800-742-1011.

According to the Fresno County website, free sandbags are available during the rain/flood season for county residents and homes located in unincorporated areas.
