UPDATE: Clovis ‘Dancing Man’ fatally struck by vehicle while walking near his favorite intersection

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Clovis.

It happened around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Bullard and Temperance avenues.

Clovis Police said the victim, who was in his 40s, was hit by one vehicle and died at the scene.

The driver of that vehicle remained on the location and was cooperating with the investigation, according to Clovis Police.

It was not immediately known what led up to the pedestrian getting struck, and the cause of the collision and any associated factors still were being investigated.

Clovis PD’s collision reconstruction unit was called to the scene to collect evidence in the road and investigate the circumstances.

The roads at the intersection of Temperance and Bullard are five-to-six-lanes wide.
