SkyWest, one of the nation’s largest regional airlines, canceled two more flights out of Fresno Yosemite International Airport on Sunday as the air carrier continued to work through computer problems.

Technical issues have forced the Utah-based SkyWest — which operates flights in Fresno under agreements with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines — to cancel hundreds of flights nationwide since Thursday.

By 9 a.m. Sunday, SkyWest canceled two of its Fresno to San Francisco flights; one scheduled at 11:40 a.m. and the other at 2:38 p.m.

FlightAware.com, a website that tracks airline arrivals, departures, delays, and cancellations, reported that across SkyWest’s nationwide route network, 46 flights had been scuttled as of Sunday morning, and 125 others were experiencing delays. Those figures were down from Saturday when 127 flights were canceled, and 251 were delayed.

This weekend’s disruptions follow two previous days of flight cancellations and delays that the airline blamed Thursday on a server outage in its computer systems. That’s when the airline and its fleet of Embraer and Bombardier regional jets saw 666 flight cancellations and 558 flight delays, including 10 cancellations of flights to and from Fresno and 15 delays.

A spokesperson for the Fresno Yosemite International Airport advised passengers to monitor their upcoming flight status online or call the airline on which they booked:

  • American Airlines: www.aa.com/travelInformation/flights/status or 800-433-7300.
  • Delta Air Lines: www.delta.com/flight-status/search or 800-221-1212.
  • United: www.united.com/en/us/flightstatus or 800-864-8331.
